Maria da Graça Martins, lawyer member of the Portuguese Bar Association, has been active in all areas of tax law, domestic and international taxation, both in tax consulting and in dispute resolution, for more than twenty years. She has a strong experience as tax adviser in the field of the tax inspections carried out by the Tax Authority and the pre-contentious resolution of conflicts of dual residency.
Her practice not only covers the taxation of individuals, with a special focus on residency matters, such as the application of Non-Habitual Resident Special status (RNH) 2.0, but also corporate taxation and international taxation. Her experience also includes VAT matters and property taxes, as well as stamp duty on financial operations.
Maria da Graça Martins is an arbitrator at the Administrative Arbitration Center (CAAD) for tax matters, since 2011.
